Let’s celebrate Cinco de Mayo a little early with our very own fiesta!
Join the Memories for Kids Guild for a FIESTA ~ A Day of Celebration and Giving! Our eighth annual spring event will be held on Friday May 3, 2024. It will be a day to celebrate our sponsors and donors, family memory recipients and the work and mission of Memories for Kids.
Families have traveled to destinations like Disney World, Cubs games in Chicago, golf trips in Arizona, Legoland in Kansas City, and Universal Studios in Florida. We have also given keepsake items, such as fingerprint necklaces and photo blankets, when a parent is in hospice. These experiences help children create a special memory with their family during a time that is otherwise very difficult and filled with sadness. Help us continue to create lifelong memories by giving today.
At 10:30 am, the Guild will kick off the day, followed by sponsor shout-outs, real-time updates on the donation tracker and videos of past memory recipients. For those whose donation levels include Fiesta packages, food and beverages will be delivered between 11am and 12pm. All will culminate with a FIESTA happy hour starting at 5 pm, at Champions Run, 13800 Eagle Run Drive, in Omaha. Painting inspired by Jeff Hanson’s style, generously donated by the David Spence Cancer Foundation, will be showcased at the event!
