My husband’s mother lost her battle with breast cancer when he was just 19 years old. Not a child, but not a grown man either. Her cancer journey motivated me to become a health care provider in Oncology. Over the past several years, I have seen so many other young adults lose their battle with little kids and teenagers at home. So many milestones missed. Giving those kids and their parents a special memory to hold on to is priceless. It brings joy to an otherwise unfathomable, tragic situation. I am proud to support Memories for Kids.
